US NAVY’s New amphibious ships

American navy is a power projection navy and has the potential to eliminate any threats to American sovereignty. American navy is the largest navy in the world operating a dozen supercarrier and has the second largest air force after the US air force.

Amphibious operation is a pinnacle of any naval invasion. US congress gives assent to a new proposal for the US navy to buy 30 new Light Amphibious Warships (LAW), These LAW are capable of carrying 40 sailors and 75 marines of the US navy. The current amphibious ships of the US navy are large in size. US san Antonio is 684 ft in length and the WASP class is 843 ft in length, the proposed LAW crafts will be very much smaller than the large amphibious warships of the current navy.
