On 27th
of May 2020, the HAL Bengaluru flight deck was completely under tension,
Because their boss Air Chief Marshal RKS Bhadauria was about to take a sortie of LCA
Tejas twin-seater. Air control crew and ground crew were on high alert.

chief along with the HAL test pilot entered the station and did routine fight
check before take off. As per the plan, the take off should be handled by the
co pliot not the Air chief. But at the last movement Air chief announced his
co-piolt and ground crew he, himself going to take control of the aircraft and
do simulation sortie on route of Krishnagiri, Tamil Nadu.  Air Chief Marshal in LCA Tejas. He
handled the flight well and did superb mauver during the mission. Even broke
the supersonic barrier creating boom sound over the krishnagiri sub urban area.
Reports of loud noise was reported on ground Krishnagiri town, Tamil Nadu. It
is a remarkable event in the history of LCA Tejas, An air chief completely trusting
a new indigenous platform. |
